Frequently Asked Questions

The best time for live-aboard starts from mid October until mid May with the peak being from December through to March. This period is the generally the dry season in Thailand; however rainfall can still occur at the beginning and end of the season.

At only 8 degrees north from the equator, the Island enjoys a tropical climate with an average water temperature of 28°C/78°F. Current is generally low and can be mid to strong on some dive sites (drift dives). You can see the description of dive sites.

There is no need to overload your luggage; we are able to provide brand new Professional Diving Equipment, in full sets or individual items as per your needs.

Full set: 600 thb / day (about 16 €)
Per element:BCD or Regulator 200 thb / day – Shorthy 150 thb – Mask & Fins 150 thb
Diving Computer Air-Nitrox: 300 thb / day (about 8 €)
Nitrox filling: 200 thb / 12L tank – 250 thb / 15L tanks – We have also on board packages
15L tank: 300 thb / day (about 8 €)

A 3mm shorty wetsuit is usually enough but a full length 5mm suit wouldn’t be out of place especially when making 3 to 4 dives a day.

To improve the quality and dive safety, and because you will be diving up to 4 times per day, WE ASK EACH OF OUR VISITORS TO BRING ALONG A DIVE COMPUTER! Although if necessary you can rent one directly from our Dive Centre.

If you’re bringing your own dive gear, please ensure your regulator and BCD have been properly checked and/or serviced. This is obviously for your optimum safety and to avoid delay once you are at the dive sites and ready to take the plunge.

The islands are national parks and there is ongoing reef conservation along with a turtle hatching protection program in place, to help maintain them in perfect condition.

For Myanmar immigration procedure, be sure to prepare with you:
– Passport with 6 month minimum validity
– 2 photocopies of personal info passport
– 2 photos (passport size)
– Myanmar Visa Fee – 200 US$ in cash

All our cruises depart in the evening, this means that you can fly in, have some time for shopping and/or sunbathing and board the vessel on the same day after diner.

For Myanmar Burma cruises only, we will ask you to be with us in early afternoon to prepare together the immigration formalities, as you will board around 16h30-17h00

Remember that we can organise all your transfers before and after the cruise as your hotel resrvations
