Koh Tachai


The Island of Koh Tachai is located at about half way between Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock.
Two different underwater reliefs on the East side of the Islands: one in the South made by big boulders of granite, the other one in the North opposite to a beach with coral massifs in a gentle slope

  • Koh Tachai Southern & Northern Pinnacle : All certified Levels – Depth from 11 to 35 meters – Good visibility – Current moderate to strong
    Called also “Le Plateau” the twin Platform is made in open sea by two main masses of granite boulders and plates covered with hard and soft corals where the marine life is aboundant, white and blacktip reef sharks are often seen
    From January to April Manta are also regularly encountered

  • Koh Tachai Reef : All Levels – Depth from 5 to 22 meters – Medium to good visibility – Current soft to moderate
    Called also “Coral Garden” this sloping reef made with mostly hard corals is the home of a rich variety of tropical reef fishes and shellfishes
A daytrip of 2 dives including :
