PADI INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION

The INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION or IE is the final step to becoming an Instructor. Once you have successfully completed an IDC/IOC, Instructor examiners from PADI headquarters will come for two days to evaluate your instructor skills. During these two days you will repeat exactly what you have been doing with us during the IDC/IOC course. There are no surprises during the IE and many candidates have found the exam easier than the IDC course. You will be evaluated on dive theory, an academic presentation, a confined water presentation, an open water presentation, PADI standards and procedures and rescue.

We limit the number of students attending each IDC course. This allows our candidates to receive greater instructor-student instruction and provides the highest standard of education and the best advice from our experienced Course Director and staff. The Course Director has experience in conducting IDC courses in English, French, Swedish and Dutch. We are proud of our 100% pass rate over the last two years. All IDC candidates during this period have passed their IE exam and are now employed in the diving industry.
