HIN DAENG – HIN MUANG

Amazing Hin Daeng, the tropical iceberg! Three rocks breaking the surface and hiding an incredible drop-off down to a depth of 50 meters plus. No other spot in Thailand has a wall like this!

The reefs around the rock provide an overwhelming variety of marine life which quality and richness compare the Similan Archipelago.

Together the hard, soft corals and the school of fish, including giant barracuda, tuna and fusilier are hosting divers swimming along with the magnificent whale shark and its fellow cobias. Hard to believe, isn’t it? Just come and check it out!

100 meters from Hin Daeng is Hin Muang, a world-class site with one of the most amazing reefs in the Andaman Sea. Reaching the same depth as Hin Daeng, its reef is totally covered with hard, soft corals while any oceanic specie decides to appear: silvertip and whale shark, big stingrays…

We don’t forget the magnificent Koh Ha Yai, group of five limestone islets, where night diving is an utmost of our cruise. With its caves, drop-off along with turtles, Jenkins stingray and leopard shark...

Hin Daeng and Hin Muang compare to Richelieu Rock in being an actual magnet for the whale shark. As you know an encounter with the biggest fish in the world is a unique experience in a diver’s life.

Knowing that this experience is favoured to scuba divers, Andaman Scuba made a point to cruise for
3 nights / 3 days to Hin Daeng-Hin Muang as often as possible.
